Assam Public Service Commission invites applications from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to B of the Constitution of India for the APDCL job 2024 Assistant Accounts officer posts under the Assam Government.

Education Qualification:
i. Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent in B.Com in aggregate or 55% marks in Honors/Major subject (B.Com) or minimum 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent for Arts or Science graduate having Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subject or 55% marks or its equivalent in Mathematics/Statistics as Honors (BA/B, Sc)
ii. For departmental candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe minimum qualification marks in a bachelor degree is 50%.
iii. Possess proficiency in computer application and having diploma certificate in computer
application with minimum duration of 3 (three) months.
Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024.
The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i,e. up to 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i,e, up to 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25ih April 2018.
(iii) For Ex. Servicemen, the maximum age shall be 50 (Fifty) years as on 01/01/2024 for Unreserved category, relaxable further by 3 (Three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 (Five) years for SC/ST candidates as per Govt, Notification No. ABP.48/2009/84 Dated 19th December, 2022.
(iv) Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 180/2017/105 dated Dispur the 7th January 2019.
Scale of pay: pay scale + Grade Pay + Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees Pay scale Grade Pay Pay Band from time to time (per month).

Eliqibilitv Criteria:
The candidate must be an lndian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to B of the Constitution of lndia and must be a permanent resident of Assam and should have profiency in Assamese/Local language.
As a domicile proof of the candidate, he/she must upload a copy of the valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate will be treated as proof of residency.

(i) To avail application fees relaxation prescribed for SC/ST/oBC/MOBC/BPL, candidates must produce certificate of the claimed category issued by competent authority.
(ii) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected.No representation against such rejection would be ente(ained.
(iii) Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fees be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
